Common EU list of COVID-19 antigen tests

Here you will always find the current EU list of COVID-19 antigen tests approved in the EU. The database is retrieved live from the EU website of the Commission COVID-19 database for in-vitro diagnostics and test methods and is therefore always up to date.

Out of responsibility, we have made it our mission to give you the opportunity to access the latest information on every Corona rapid test we offer and also on all other approved Covid antigen tests. Common EU list of COVID-19 antigen tests

The new version of the EU HSC (Common EU Coronavirus Testing Regulation of 29.06.2022) reorganizes the eligibility for reimbursement of rapid antigen tests. Eligibility for reimbursement in accordance with Section 1 (1) sentence 1 with regard to diagnostics using point-of-care (PoC) antigen tests is limited to antigen tests listed in the Common List of Coronavirus Rapid Tests (HSC Common RAT List) adopted by the Health Security Committee of the European Union.

This document builds on the Council Recommendation of January 21, 20211 in which EU Member States unanimously agreed to establish a common framework for the use and validation of rapid antigen tests and the mutual recognition of COVID-19 test results in the EU.

The BfArM offers a list of antigen tests for the direct detection of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. This list includes those tests which, according to the manufacturer, are legally marketed in Europe or Germany in accordance with the requirements of the Medical Devices Act (MPG) and meet all the minimum criteria for antigen tests defined by the Paul Ehrlich Institute in consultation with the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).
